There once was a mannequin who lived in a clothing store. He had stood in place his whole life, watching as people walked past him every day, never acknowledging his presence.

When humans did glance at him they’d only look at what it was wearing then looking away. not truly seeing the mannequin for who it was or who it could beCOME.

IT thought to ITSelf, I’d do anything to belong somewhere. Anything to leave this placE.

Three years, four week, and three days passed as he thought to himself Longing to SEE the WORLD WHAT more was out there. Could this be all there is for me? IT wondered. Is this truly where I belong?

LATER THAT SAME DAY IT OVER HEARD 2 OF THE EMPLOYEES TALKING TO EACH OTHER THEY SAID,

HAVE YOU FIGURED OUT WHERE YOUR GOING TO WORK NOW SENCE THE STORE IS CLOSING SOON?

The mannequin FELT AN OVERWHELMING FEELING OF FEAR IT BEGAN TO THINK THAT ITS HOLE LIFE WAS MEANINGLESS IT WONDERED WHAT THEYED DO TO IT ONCE THE STORE HAD CLOSED, it wondered IF IT WOULD BE SUCK THERE FOREVER UNTIL THE BUILDING WAS DEMOLISHED. at that moment the song yesterday began to play on the radio and i imagine IF IT COULD HAVE CRYED IT WOULD HAVE in that moment.

AS IT stood in front of a long hall with a door down the middle of it 2003 APRIL 14th at 3 p.m. JUST 1 DAY BEFORE THE CLOSING OF THE STORE. at 3:43 pm that day a strange looking man walked out of THE DOOR. The mannequin, found it quite odd? he hadn’t seen ANYONE OTHER THEN THE EMPLOYEES COME OUT OF THERE before?

The man started walking down the hall toward him closer and closer and as he approached, he began to LOOK the mannequin the man said, you MUST BE THE one? WITH A smile ON HIS FACE. The mannequin WONDERed what he meant by this? Then, the strange-looking MAN WENT OVER TO TALK WITH ONE OF THE STORE MANEGER THE MAN LOOKED OVER AND POINTED AT THE mannequin IT SEEMED AS THOUGH THEY WERE TALKING ABOUT IT. the strange looking man WALKED BACK Over TO THE mannequin and put his hand on the mannequins head then the man spoke HE said

YOU ARE FREE NOW, GO FIND WHERE YOU BELONG.

AND THAT MY FRIENDS IS HOW THIS ONE mannequinS STORY BEGAN.
